Cancellations must be communicated directly by email, telephone or WhatsApp.
8. Changes to a Booking

After the free waiting period, waiting time may be charged at 150 ISK per minute.
Different waiting arrangements may apply to airport collections, delayed flights, private tours or customised bookings. These will be communicated where relevant.

Where a valid flight number has been provided, Taxi4U may monitor publicly available flight information and adjust the expected collection time where reasonably possible.
The customer must inform Taxi4U of flight cancellations, rebookings, missed connections or changes that are not reflected accurately in public flight information.

14. Additional Stops
One additional stop may be included free of charge where it is directly on the agreed route and has been accepted in advance.
Stops requiring a diversion, substantial waiting time or a change to the itinerary may result in an additional charge.
15. Weather, Roads and Safety
Icelandic weather and road conditions can change rapidly. Safety always takes priority over the planned itinerary or arrival time.
Taxi4U ehf may delay, modify, shorten, redirect or cancel a journey where weather, road closures, official warnings, vehicle conditions or other safety concerns make the planned service unsafe or impracticable.
Where possible, Taxi4U will communicate significant changes and propose a reasonable alternative.
Travel times shown on the website, Google Maps or other platforms are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.
16. Cancellation by Taxi4U
Taxi4U ehf may cancel a confirmed journey because of unsafe weather, road closures, vehicle failure, driver illness, official restrictions or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Where Taxi4U cancels a service that has already been paid for and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, the amount paid for the cancelled service will normally be refunded.
Taxi4U ehf is not responsible for indirect expenses such as missed flights, hotel costs, alternative transport or loss of planned activities, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
17. Private Tours
Tour durations, destinations and stops are approximate and may be adapted to weather, daylight, road conditions and passenger needs.
Admission fees, food, accommodation and third-party activities are not included unless expressly stated in the confirmed offer.
Taxi4U ehf cannot guarantee the visibility of natural phenomena, including the northern lights, wildlife, volcanic activity or specific weather conditions.
